Paying the original Creditor

I didn't even show up to court. I guess I thought it would go away. Now, they have 1 judgement for 5 different accounts, they have listed 5 negatives to my credit report x 2 bureaus. I know i'm beyond debt validation, but, what are your thoughts or advise on paying the original creditor in full, with "agrees to report positive to cra;s" in the memo of your check? would that work? I hope to hear from you all soon........"

If you can work out a deal with the OC.. make sure they can get the CA to provide in writting that they will go back to the courts and request a dismissal of the judgement. I seriously doubt they will do it, just because you failed to show in court but you never know unless you write them a letter. You know the type. The one where there will be a huge hickey on their backsides when they get done reading it. Good luck!"

Think very carefully about how you want to approach the OC on this matter and proceed with caution. Do everything in writting and if you to discuss the matter on the phone.. get an email address and confirm via email. Dont take anything less then what you want... since you have nothing more to loose and they already have their judgement."

I will try to slip the memo under their nose, in my state, if you cash a check with a memo agreement, you are bound by that agreement. wish me luck... Note: i'm not political, but it seems like all the media is saying the economy is doing great, but all my freinds, educated or not, are all suffering from the collections plegae. everyone is suffering right now..hum"

In the post I explain how to put terms into the check you write to the CA/OC. It may help you out. In your situation something like that may be the only way out."
