Chase "re-aging" CO's

lane069 said: "I had some credit problems back in 2001 as a result of a business failure (telecom, what else?). Specifically, I had two credit card accounts with Bank 1. They both showed CO in 9/2003. Now I look at my credit report, and they show as only charging off in 10/2005. Can Bank 1 (now Chase) change the date of the charge off like that? My score did go down and that's the major change that I see. Thoughts? Any help/advice appreciated. Lane"

NO!.. and if you have proof that they are incorrectly reporting the DOLA then you might be able to use that against the new OC. Im sure Jayb has a letter for this in his collection LOL"
