bigjohngs said: "hi all , I have alot of very serious things going on in my life , divorce is just the small issue at this point . I have discovered serious inconsistancies in , not only my personal finances , but buisness as well. I never even heard of sherman aquisitions until recently . Ive discovered my home was sold with a security instrument,a v.a. rider , which i never signed , i also pulled court house doc. referring me to a clerk file #, when i looked it up i found pages of doc,s with sherman aquisitions named as plaintiff and a feww listed as def..I was thinking , maybe my soon to be ex had something to do with this ! Now keep in my my name is sherman and my other half is with out a doubt one of the smartest ladies you would ever meet , she has the intelligence ,drive , ambition, and the resources to accomplish anything she puts her mind to, and wanted to here from someone that possibly new who is at the top of this org. or how i might go about finding out more about these people! Now that Ihave that out of the way,let me say that my soon to be ex went from making a mere 17,000 anual income to over 100,000 in just a few short years, she was introduced to me by my sister who is also is still real good friend with my first wife ,Now this gets a little deep here but it really has got me thinking lately, READY ! OK back in i believe 1988 ,Iwas ststioned in the U.K.at R.A.F Upper heyford, my father had passed away and emerg. leave paper work was started, and was finished very quickly and my self and family,4 of us left one day earlier than expected for the u.s. That was the day before the Pan am flt 103 that exploded over scotland ,Now my fisrt wife and i kind of kidded around saying lets put in a claim and we wont have to ever work again, and never mentioned it again. we eventualy divorced and soon after we were legally divorced i was introduced to my next wife and we were married 3 mos later .From that time i have never done anything that wasent with my wifes aqaintences not only personal but buisness related as well, she was so smart in every way i was so thankful that i found someone who wouldnt mind taking care of all our finances ,i let her handle eveything including taxes. Now keep this in mind , my first wifes mothers best friend worked in the franchise tax office in calif. her uncle in the d.m.v. and my second wife worked in the insurance industry for years . Do any of you think i might be just freaking out or could something like this happen ,One of the reasons for me to think something sinister is going on is some of my family has some how come up with money over the years ,theyre buying homes , trucks,boats,4 wheelers and none of them has the smarts to earn that kind of money .I have busted my rear over the last 20 years of my life and havent been able to afford all those things , what do you all think ? am i nuts or do you think something might be happening here?"

David said: "Security Instrument
A recorded legal document given by the borrower to the lender. It pledges the title of the property as insurance to the lender for the full payment of the mortgage. Mortgages, deeds of trust and deeds to secure debt are considered security instruments. The security instrument contains the description of the property.
Rider
A document that is attached to another document for the purpose of amending, or supplementing the other document. The following riders if required based on loan type are attached to the mortgage/deed: Adjustable Rate Rider, Condominium Rider, and PUD Rider.
One way to find out.. get a real estate lawyer to look over everything you found.. get copies of everything you can find at the court house concerning you..and also show it to your divorce lawyer.."
