My scores are in the low 500's with 2 Crap Ones, 1 Providian & 1 Citi card that are on my file as charge offs. I am disputing 2 of them right now to get them removed. I do not have any good items except for Equifax and I want to start getting atleast 1 good item reporting to start bringing these scores back up. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks"

If you are unable to afford a secured card just stay away from First Premier and Centennial bank, they charge unreal fees. I would suggest Household Bank (no fees) or Orchard Bank ($79 per year) for a first try. Do not forget every card you apply for will add inquiries to your credit file and lower your score.

Choose one, do not do both, they are both HSBC products and if you get declined on one the fate would probably be the same on the other. I prefer Householdbank myself.

First Premier's fees are outrageous but I needed it to start rebuilding. I promise myself I wouldn't use more than 30 percent of the balance, that way I know I can pay it. Don't want to go down that path again. Good Luck :)"
