Ally said: "You might want to check with your local bank. Many of them offer gift cards that work like a Mastercard or Visa, and is accepted pretty much anywhere.
I'm not quite sure what the limits of them are, because they may differ, so be sure to read the fine print.
American Express also offers the same sort of thing. A prepaid credit card that can be used."
