My husband just tried to get refinancing for our home and was told by the refinancing company that they could not find a credit score for him,
I cannot help because I just filed a Chapter 7 and the house in my name..I did not place my home under the chapter 7 .
by the house being under my name ( but his name is on the deed) and the mortgage company is on my credit...
just wanted to know exactly what does not being able to find a credit score mean?
thanks"

I recently had a client like that where he had no employment, mortgage, or credit history. In my situation, we were able to get him and his wife a loan based on both incomes, because basing it off a one income alone, didn't qualify them"

You can qualify for unsecured cards after a couple months. That with keeping your utilization under 20% will drastically improve scores and you can open other accounts with prime cc companies.
You can do what you have to do but just be careful of the fine print of those companies that offer amazing changes FAST.
Best of luck!!"
