How many credit cards to have healthy credit? How many credit cards to have healthy credit?
Don said: "If you have suffered from bad credit in the past and have a bad history with managing your credit, what would be the amount of secured credit I could have again to stablish and recover good credit?
and How long should I wait to apply for another credit card? after the fist 12 months? after the first 6 months?
Is that a convenient way of getting cards again? I want to be able to at least have two and no more.
In other words, how many credit cards is good to have to manage your credit in a healthy way?
I am so afraid I could end up making the same mistakes I made in the past.
I have learned my lesson now."

2 cards should help build up your credit faster. You may want to get one department store of gas card too, although make sure to pay off the balance every month because the fees can be outrageous."

I would get 2 major cards (visa, master, disc, ect) after 6 months or so you can request to have them unsecured and you will continue to better your credit from there.
Always try to keep 2 major credit cards open.
