http://incharge.org but I am still hesitant. I am really nervous about really screwing up my credit but I think it is shot as it is. has anyone used this service before, do you have any advice for me?

BUT, if you feel that you CAN'T do-it-yourself, BY ALL MEANS, find one that is reputable and wont kill you with fees.
Dont be afraid to ask questions on any site. We are all in the process of getting out of debt. We will try to answer your questions the best we can but always continue searching and READ

Do tha first. The worst case scenario is you get some debt knocked off and wont have to pay it back. Credit counseling does tank your score from what I hear"
