Consolidation and CC CompaniesConsolidation and CC Companies

I'm new here, so forgive me if I posted in the wrong place. I'll give a little history and then I have a question for those who might have some expertise in this area. I got into credit card debt during college and the few years afterwards. It got out of control and I finally had to resort to Consolidation with CCCS. I signed up with them a little under a year ago. They set up a 5 year plan, but it feels like it's going to be longer than that to pay it all off, and I feel like I'm still paying more than I should be. I pay in $400 a month, and have only been paying off about half of that. I know that one of the credit card companies I was with before now has me at 4.9% interest. Would there be any benefit to this credit card company to take on the credit from my other credit card companies at the same interest rate instead of me going through CCCS? I know I would pay a lot more off, and get it paid off more quickly if I were to do it. I just don't know if it would be mutually beneficial or if it would even be worth me trying to contact them. Any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance."
