stanley said: "Hi I am a part of another financial forum. Also I am planning to open my own forums.
One issue worried me more and that is openness. How open can one forum be,
I noticed few legal issues against the forums,
1) A company (WCC) is filing a case against them for some posts done by members.
2) Collection agencies are not happy with the openness concept and are after the forums.
Can they take any action against the forum admins (or the company)?
Thanks,
Stanley"

What is your opinion , will the WCC company stand any chance of winning? Denny has mentioned the whole issue in his blog."

I keep reading their blogs and suddenly came across this issue. I was eager to get a clarification.
Do countries have some rules for such cases?"

That may or may not be grounds for a suit. I'm not a lawyer.
I do know that discussing the FCRA and credit repair is not illegal. The CRAs actually encourage people to fix errors in their reports.
Attempting to damage a company or person is wrong - sharing information and discussing the law and consumer rights is not."
