Unsecured Credit Card

An unsecured credit card is a credit card that doesn't require you to put an initial deposit in order for the credit card company to issue you credit.

These types of cards are issued by the major credit card companies and a number of department stores. Credit limits may vary from lender to lender.

In order to keep a good credit standing, you must make (at least) the minimum amount due prior to the due date. If you have a balance, finance charges may accrue on your outstanding balance.

Always review your terms and conditions of your credit card agreements.
