I'm sure they'll be able to work something out for you, but they might try to charge you higher interest rates.

Depending on your situation, you might want to shop for financing at local banks or credit unions to see if they can offer a deal better or in line with Ford finance.

Let us know how it goes..

You're welcome!
I'm sure you'll have no problem putting the financing together.

What type of car are you looking at?

I bet Ford wants to sell cars bad enough to try and finance any deal.

Buy something that gets good mileage.

A check on CB shows EX is pulled, but you may want to read this thread to how Ford does it's financing. Also CB has a Automotive Forum headed by MarvBear, he is really really knowledgeable about this stuff. You may want to post there as well if you particulary specific questions or do the good ol' SEARCH thing.:)

my score was a little lower than that and they sent me through with citiauto with a 12.9 rate, pretty high, but I needed a car at the time.

need suggestions asap....please........i have found the perfect truck that i want......its an 03 Lightning with only 7000 miles on it........it is at a ford dealership in OH. The finance guy said they go through 27 different banks. I have scores of 622,632,and 633 ficos. its a 20,000 vehicle and i think i could get them down to 18500 or so plus finance charges. I have a couple thousand to put down if needed. I have some stuff coming off of my report at the end of this month that should boost the scores a little(removed 1700 collection from TU, and updated collection on all 3). Do u guys think i should go and apply now since i know this wont be for sale for much longer or u think i should wait another month or so until those scores are higher? i cant really afford a ton on inquiries with the low score. thanks
