Default Whats the deal?

Okay now I have a question. I have a fico score of 620/transinion and I went to a dealership today and the score they pulled from me was a 576!!! Why is that? They said you need at least a 650 to get a car loan and this loan was only for 8,000. Are those scores differnet? I had to come home and recheck my score 9days ago I bought a new fico score and it was 620 maybe it dropped in 9 days but nothing as far as credit had changed. Whats the deal?

Let me add that I did not buy another score yesterday because I didnt want to waste the money. I came home and pulled up myfico to re-check the score. I am obssesed with my scores for now because within the next 1-2 yrs its time to buy a house!

OK I am experienced in the dealership situation. the reason you got a 576 is because they probably pulled a different credit bureau report like experian or equifax. Scores do vary in each bureau. as far as not able to buy a car with a 574, they are lying. If they want to put a little effort, I know, trust me, they can get you financed. they are just lazy and dont want to work at it.
Go to a different dealership and get you a real salesperson.

That's how it goes. If the dealers are motivated enough, they will do everything in their power to get the deal.
