Default Are you shopping with credit this holiday season?

I was just wondering who was doing their holiday shopping on borrowed money this year? I personally am not. I decided that if I can't afford it, I'm not getting it. Christmas has became too "commercial" for me. What about you?

Christmas is BS, but I am buying a few things. I saved for it this year.

That's why Lay-away always comes in handy. I've got most of my shopping done, with barely anything put on credit this year.

Hmm... well I put a few things on one of my cards, i figured since all six of my cards have a ZERO balance, using one during the holiday season for a few things isn't too bad. Plus I can have it paid off in under a month so I didn't see too much danger in that. :th_coolio:

Anyways, I get most of my shopping done between September and November, so since its so spread out I usually don't even feel the dent in my wallet, just this year I had a car repair damage that, so three gifts on the card and it'll be paid off next month easily. I'm good. :)

Always best to plan ahead, Dory. Responsible use of credit is always a good habit to get into. Kudos to you.

Thanks! :) Seems there are duplicate things on my report. I gotta dispute all that and fix it. Blech!

I did the majority of my shopping with the card. It helped me out a lot.

I really only used it as much as I needed to, which wound up being three gifts, which already are paid off. So I'm in good shape. I'm just wondering if I could cancel any cards that I dont even use... that have very small limits on them and not worth keeping?
