Default Credit Card Holders Could get Refund

I was reading that thirty million credit card holders could be getting $25.00 or more after a class action lawsuit.

Quote:
The class action suit alleges several credit card companies overcharged customers when converting foreign currencies into dollars on credit and debit purchases.

You could be eligible for a refund if you made overseas purchases with visa, MasterCard, or diners club cards.
No word on how or when people might receive them, though..

Across enough accounts, that could add up to a lot of money for the credit card companies, but I agree.. $25.00 isn't much to get excited about.

It is just ONE $25 payment regardless of the number of credit cards and it is only if you used your card in a foreign country during the claim period. Here is the website: ccfsettlement com / claim (take out the spaces, put a www in front and a . before the com. I have to make more posts before I post urls! If you received a packet in the mail you can file online using the ID number on the packet. If you did not receive a claim packet then click the "I do not have a Refund ID" link. :)

$25 doesn't go as far as it used to.

In my book $25 is $25. Every penny helps these days.
