You can opt out from credit card companies getting your personal information. You can also contact the credit reporting agency to pay a minimal fee for a freeze on your credit report so no lenders can pull your credit report without you unlocking it first or providing a special code to access the report.

You can individually opt out of each of your creditors from selling your customer information with affiliates.
