Default Vehicle Repossession Lie- HELP

hi all, its been a while. OK veh was repo'd for less than 3 days.. i have veh back and still currently paying on it. they are stating though that it was a repo due to a voluntary surrender, they said i called in and requested it.. this is a LIE. they do not have anything in writing requesting this, no recorded conversation of this, but yet they have that i called in a was making payment arrangements and so forth- so why in the heck would i call you to come get it.. anyway and it was only 53 days past due. since they did this repo' based on a lie is there anything that i can do, is this an illegal repo? basically prior to this they have no documentation that a repo was in process, a voluntary surrender call is what started it all from what they are saying... but if i never called and requested that than what the heck!!! how do i know that a rep. didn't call me and get under my skin and maybe i fussed at them and they didn't like that so just put this bs in my file... that is possible.. i can see being upset by asking y0u to come get the veh and turn right around 2 days later paying even more for towing and storage.. is ridiculous! any advice would be great.. i am trying to get this off my credit, it's already bad enough it will still report as late. thans.

how can it show as a repo if you're still paying for it? It would have to show as an open account.

You could write to a higher up person, try looking on www.planetfeedback.com for a contact at the vehicle company.

If you pay this account off now, it can be updated to reaffirmed, from the surrender status.

We had that as well, though the vehicle was never actually repoed, but they said they were going to. We managed to work it out and pay a partial payment and then make up the rest on the next month, but anyways long story short, they said they were going to repo the car and didn't.
We pulled our CR a year or so later and hubby and I both had a repo listed on there. We contested it as not ours and it was removed. Seems like someone got a little over-zelious about adding it and not following up.
But have you tried to just contest it off your report? I'm sorry if I have misunderstood you and you've already done that. If so and it came back valid I would do like NightStar said and write to someone higher up and tell your story.
