Bait & Switch = A tactic in which a bargain-priced item is used to attract customers who are then encouraged to purchase a more expensive similar item.
BK = Bankruptcy
BT = Balance Transfer
BTW = By the way
BUMP = Asking someone to take another look at your post
BUMP/BUMPAGE = Removing Inquiries off of TU & EQ
CA = Collection agency
CC = Credit Card
CCCS = Consumer Credit Counseling Service
C&D = Cease and Desist Letter
CO = Charge Off
CR = Credit Report
CRA = Credit Reporting Agency (TU, EQ, EX)
CRRR = Certified Return Receipt Requested
DEL = Delete
Derog = Derogatory Tradeline
DH = Dear Husband
DOLA = Date of Last Activity
DV = Debt Validation
DW = Dear Wife
EQ = Equifax
EX = Experian
FICO = Score models procuded by Fair Isaac
FCBA = Fair Credit Billing Act
FCRA = Fair Credit Reporting Act
FDCPA = Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
Green Card = CRRR Card that is returned to sender
IIB = Included in Bankruptcy
IMHO = In my humble opinion
ITS = Intent To Sue
LOC = Line of Credit
LOL = Laughing out loud
Neg = Negative
NSF = Non-sufficient funds
OC = Original creditor
OP = Original Poster
PG = Privacy Guard (Credit Monitoring Service)
PP = Permissible Purpose
SOL = Statute of limitations
Tradeline = Creditor Account Listing on CR
TU = TransUnion
UDF = Manual update Form used by reporting company
WK = Worthknowing (Credit Monitoring Service)
JDB = Junk Debt Buyer
O = Original Amount of the Loan
L / CL = Credit Limit on the account.
H / HC = Highest you have ever charged on the account.
B = Current Balance being reported on the account.
