Exclamation Capital One to Court
Capital one was sending me to court for an old account. I received notice they (capital one) asked for the case to be dismissed? What do I do now? Do I write for validation now? Why would they dismiss the case? Thanks

How old is the debt? Is it still within SOL? (Statute of lmitations).

That is a good thing that they dismissed the judgement, this give you time to send them a request for debt validation and possibly settle this matter out of court.

It is probably not Capital One but the Collection Agency acting as an Attorney. Remember they are a Collection Agency first. Who was the collection agency?
